Tough luck: The 17-year-old student at Austin High School in Alabama fell in love with the glamorous $223 pink gown she saw online, but she said the dress she ended up receiving was not what she had paid for

Alivia explained that she had been excited about the dress she had seen on the site, which featured an illusion neckline and intricate silver beading.

However, Alivia ended up receiving a bubblegum pink gown with white lace applique.

The teen first started to worry after the dress failed to arrive by April 12, the date Allanhu promised, and the late arrival prompted Alivia to find a back-up dress that she could borrow from a friend in case it didn’t come in time for the big dance.

When the dress arrived in the mail two days later, Alivia was shocked to find that the dress she received barely resembled the gown she had spent more than $200 on.
